On Wednesday, all three major U.S. stock indices closed higher. The Hang Seng Index ADRs also advanced. Calculated proportionally, the index closed at 25,483.37 points, representing an increase of 155.14 points or 0.61% compared to its Hong Kong closing level. Major blue-chip stocks showed mixed performance. HSBC Holdings PLC closed at HKD 148.349, up 1.19% from its Hong Kong close. Tencent Holding Ltd. closed at HKD 435.349, marking a gain of 0.22% from its Hong Kong session close.
