RemeGen Co., Ltd. (RemeGen) disclosed that on 14 October 2026 it entered into two new wealth-management agreements with Shanghai Pudong Development Bank’s Yantai Branch (SPDB Yantai). The company will deploy RMB70.00 million and RMB300.00 million of idle self-owned funds into principal-guaranteed, floating-return structured deposits—products “Liduoduo Corporate Stable Profit 99JG4360” (69-day tenor, maturity 23 December 2026) and “Liduoduo Corporate Stable Profit 99JG4361” (30-day tenor, maturity 13 November 2026), respectively. Both instruments are linked to the EUR-USD exchange rate and offer tiered annualised yields of 0.70%, 1.75% or 1.95%, with SPDB retaining early-termination rights.
These purchases follow earlier transactions with the same bank: RMB200.00 million on 6 May 2026 and RMB100.00 million on 13 May 2026. Aggregated, RemeGen has now committed RMB670.00 million to SPDB wealth-management products within the past 12 months.
RemeGen’s board had previously authorised utilisation of up to RMB2.50 billion in idle self-owned funds and up to RMB80.00 million of idle A-share proceeds for cash management, a resolution passed at the board’s 36th meeting on 27 March 2026.
Under Hong Kong Listing Rule 14.22, the four SPDB agreements are aggregated as a single transaction. With at least one applicable percentage ratio exceeding 5% but all below 25%, the combined purchase is classified as a discloseable transaction under Chapter 14, triggering mandatory reporting and announcement requirements.
Management stated that deploying idle funds into low-to-medium risk, principal-protected products with yields above comparable term deposits enhances capital efficiency while maintaining controlled risk. The agreements were negotiated on an arm’s-length basis, and the board deems the terms fair and in the interests of shareholders.
RemeGen remains a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on innovative biologics for autoimmune, oncology and ophthalmic diseases, with H-shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and A-shares on the Shanghai STAR Market.
