The environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the Huadian Sichuan Daocheng 250MW photovoltaic project has been formally accepted. The project, which will cover a total land area of 374.78 hectares, is scheduled for a 12-month construction period and will include a supporting 50MW energy storage system.
Recently, the Ecological Environment Bureau of Ganzi Prefecture in Sichuan Province announced the acceptance of the EIA documents for the "Ganzi Daocheng Lilang Phase I Photovoltaic Power Generation Project." This new solar power facility will be constructed by Daocheng Huadian New Energy Co., Ltd. and is located in Julong Township, Daocheng County.
The project encompasses a total installed capacity of 290.58 MWp, with an AC-side rated capacity of 250 MW. It will consist of 50 individual 5MW photovoltaic sub-arrays. The installation plan calls for the use of 400,800 N-type 725Wp bifacial double-glass monocrystalline silicon modules.
Each 5MW unit will comprise 334 string circuits, 12 inverters derated to 416.6 kW, and one 5000 kVA box-type step-up transformer. The electrical collection system will utilize a bridge-type structure. A 220kV booster station with a main transformer capacity of 250 MVA will be established on-site.
Furthermore, the project will be equipped with an energy storage system with a capacity of 50MW/200MWh. The total construction period for the entire project is set at 12 months.
