Throughout the holiday period, the team closely tracked key matters including forest land and grassland approvals, construction land approvals, and cultural relic impact assessments, while strengthening coordination with relevant departments to ensure parallel progress and layered implementation of all tasks.
The project leader stated that preliminary procedures are the prerequisite for construction to begin, and keeping work and coordination running without pause during the holiday will help the project meet construction readiness conditions as early as possible, demonstrating dedication through hard work as a tribute to the nation and contributing to the building of a modern Otog Front Banner characterized by harmony, beauty, and shared prosperity.
It is understood that the Shanghaimiao-Shuiquan Green Hydrogen Pipeline is the core demonstration segment of the cross-regional Dengkou-Shanghaimiao-Ningdong Green Hydrogen Pipeline. Located within Shanghaimiao Town in Otog Front Banner, the pipeline spans 2.2 kilometers with a total investment of approximately 412 million yuan and an 18-month construction period.
This pipeline is a critical link in opening up a strategic export corridor from the hinterland of green hydrogen resources in western Inner Mongolia to the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base in Ningxia. The project is not only a necessary requirement for implementing national and autonomous region hydrogen energy policies, but also a key measure to address mismatches between green hydrogen supply and demand, reduce transportation costs, and deepen regional coordination.
For Otog Front Banner, once completed, the project will effectively promote the large-scale development of local green hydrogen, lower industrial hydrogen costs, and provide clean hydrogen source guarantees for deep decarbonization of the Shanghaimiao Energy and Chemical Industry Park and surrounding industrial enterprises. It will also further enhance Otog Front Banner's position as a node in the regional green hydrogen corridor, drive the clustering of related industries such as hydrogen equipment and operation and maintenance services, and inject new momentum into the optimization of the banner's industrial structure and the cultivation of new quality productive forces.
