SHOUCHENG (00697) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shoucheng Jishi, recently invested in the Huatai Three Gorges Clean Energy Closed-End Infrastructure Securities Investment Fund, known as the Huatai Three Gorges New Energy REIT.

This investment is designed to accelerate the large-scale, market-driven development of the clean energy sector, providing robust support for achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.

China Three Gorges New Energy (Group) Co., Ltd., the core operator, focuses on developing, investing in, and managing wind and solar power assets. Its operations span across 30 provinces and regions in China, with installed capacity and profitability ranking among the industry's top tier.

The Huatai Three Gorges New Energy REIT is backed by the Zhuanghe III (300MW) offshore wind farm project in Dalian, Liaoning Province, which is recognized for its high-quality assets and sustainable operational capabilities.

The successful listing of this REIT marks a significant step in channeling social capital into green energy infrastructure, which is expected to drive high-quality development across the entire clean energy supply chain and help build a modern, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system.

Looking ahead, the company plans to steadfastly increase its investment in China's smart infrastructure asset sector. By leveraging its full-industry-chain synergies and first-mover advantages in the REIT space, it aims to deepen strategic collaboration with leading state-owned enterprises in the energy field. This strategy will promote the deep integration of finance and the real economy, support capital-driven growth in the clean energy sector, and provide long-term momentum for the energy transition and high-quality industrial development.
