Solar stocks extended losses in late trading. As of press time, XINTE ENERGY (01799) fell 3.31% to HK$7.88, FLAT GLASS (06865) dropped 2.81% to HK$11.43, FUYAO GLASS (03606) declined 2.64% to HK$66.5, and XINYI SOLAR (00968) slid 1.43% to HK$3.45.
A research report noted that November's silicon wafer and cell production schedules decreased by 4.9% and 1.0% month-on-month, respectively. In September, new solar installations totaled 9.66GW, down 53.8% year-on-year and 31.25% month-on-month. With provincial policies under the "Document No. 136" mechanism rolling out, domestic solar installation growth in Q4 is expected to face pressure.
Separately, industry executive Liu Han Yuan stated that silicon material reserves would not violate antitrust regulations. Another report highlighted that the polysilicon market is currently focused on whether a reserve platform will be established in November, with expectations later shifting to the "November warehouse receipt cancellation" phase. Investors are cautioned against potential misinformation affecting market sentiment during policy gaps.
