On October 12, the 2026 Linyi High-End Engineering Equipment Industry "Four-Chain Integration" On-Site Promotion Meeting was officially convened.
At the meeting, the Linyi Yihe New Area Management Committee and JD Industrials (07618) signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will leverage Linyi's solid manufacturing foundation and JD Industrials' digital supply chain capabilities to build a tripartite collaborative development model of "government guidance + platform empowerment + enterprise as the main body," deepen cooperation on digital and intelligent transformation around the region's advantageous industrial chains, jointly promote the construction of the national-level industrial goods belt for "Linyi Smart Manufacturing," and help Linyi become a trillion-yuan industrial city and an international commodity distribution center.
Yu Shengtao, Deputy Secretary of the Linyi Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the event. He pointed out that "Four-Chain Integration" is the core engine for elevating industrial capacity, and Linyi has the foundation and conditions to build a high-end engineering equipment industry landmark with national and even global influence. The government will serve as the industry organizer and factor guarantee provider, promoting coordinated efforts among government, finance, enterprises, and research institutions. He stated that cooperation with JD Industrials will inject strong momentum into Linyi's industrial digital transformation.
As an important national hub for industrial goods industry clustering, Linyi has 13 landmark industrial chains including high-end engineering equipment, agricultural machinery equipment, and hardware tools, with a solid manufacturing foundation and outstanding commercial logistics advantages. In recent years, Linyi has taken "Four-Chain Integration" as the core engine for industrial upgrading, continuously improving a full-chain industrial system from core components to complete machine manufacturing, and from technology research and development to after-sales service, focusing on strengthening the industrial skeleton and activating innovation momentum. This strategic cooperation with JD Industrials is precisely a key measure for Linyi to leverage digital platforms to elevate its industrial capacity, with Yihe New Area as the core carrier providing all-factor policy and resource guarantees for the cooperation's implementation.
According to the agreement, both parties will deepen practical cooperation around three core directions. In terms of industrial digital and intelligent upgrading, Yihe New Area will coordinate resources from eight major advantageous industrial clusters including local high-end engineering equipment, general components, fine chemicals, and modern pharmaceuticals, compile lists of chain-leading enterprises, specialized and sophisticated SMEs, and small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, and guide enterprises to join the JD Industrials platform in batches; both parties will jointly hold supply-demand matching meetings, industrial belt investment promotion events, and digital transformation training activities to drive overall industrial belt upgrading through government-enterprise collaboration. In terms of regional brand building, they will jointly build an online public brand system for "Linyi Smart Manufacturing / Yimeng Quality Products," fully incorporate JD Industrials' online channels into the regional brand promotion matrix, and simultaneously launch the "JD Industrials Linyi Landmark Pavilion," which has been included as a key project in Linyi's "Intelligent Transformation and Digital Upgrade" and "Chain Integration and Consolidation" initiatives, and will receive policy and assessment preferential support. In terms of implementation guarantees, Yihe New Area supports JD Industrials in establishing an industrial service station with dedicated personnel stationed on-site, responsible for enterprise surveys, onboarding guidance, and project follow-up; both parties will establish a face-to-face collaborative coordination mechanism, each designating dedicated liaisons to quickly resolve project advancement issues and open up government-enterprise information channels.
The head of JD Industrials stated that JD Industrials will inject platform momentum into Linyi's industry from four aspects: first, expanding channels by linking quality enterprise customer resources and building precise supply-demand matching bridges; second, reducing costs by providing one-stop digital procurement services to lower enterprise sourcing costs and inventory capital occupation; third, building brands by combining industrial goods management and traceability systems with government public brand endorsement to help local enterprises break out of low-price competition and build their own brands to gain market premiums; fourth, facilitating light transformation by providing lightweight digital tools for small and medium-sized factories, jointly conducting talent training, and lowering enterprise transformation thresholds. At the same time, JD Industrials will leverage its cross-border overseas channel advantages to promote direct supply of Linyi industrial goods to overseas customers.
The implementation of this tripartite collaborative model will fully unleash the comparative advantages of all parties, connecting industrial resources through digital supply chains. It not only provides a practical and actionable path for Linyi's manufacturing upgrading but also creates a replicable model for the digital and intelligent transformation of regional industrial belts across the country.
