Airbus Shares Drop on Quality Issues in New A320 Aircraft

Deep News12-01

Shares of Airbus SE (EADSY) declined following reports of industrial quality issues in the fuselage panels of dozens of A320 series aircraft. Sources indicated that the defect has caused delays in some deliveries, though there is no evidence so far that the problem affects in-service planes. Airbus has yet to comment on the matter.

Meanwhile, the company stated that approximately 6,000 A320 aircraft affected by a software glitch have largely been repaired.
