On October 19, the three-day "Yue Chuang Future Action — Hong Kong and Macao Youth Shaoguan Big Data and Low-Altitude Economy Industry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exchange Camp" was launched in Shaoguan. The event was hosted by the Shaoguan Municipal Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Bureau, aiming to focus on the two core industry tracks of big data and low-altitude economy, gather representatives of Hong Kong and Macao youth, and adopt an innovative model of "exchange + experience + matchmaking" to carry out industry inspections, policy interpretation, and resource matchmaking, further activating the synergy of innovation and entrepreneurship among youth from the three regions and deepening exchanges and integration among Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao youth.
On the afternoon of the 19th, the launch ceremony and the Hong Kong and Macao Youth Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exchange Meeting were held. The Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau provided a special interpretation of Shaoguan's entrepreneurship and employment support policies; the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau comprehensively introduced Shaoguan's industrial layout, business environment, and investment policies, with a focus on promoting investment opportunities and cooperation directions in key areas such as big data and low-altitude economy, offering precise policy guidance for Hong Kong and Macao youth coming to develop in Shaoguan.
Subsequently, representatives of Hong Kong and Macao youth successively visited the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Data Application Industrial Park and the Baidu Smart Cloud (Shaoguan) Artificial Intelligence Data Annotation Base, gaining an in-depth understanding of Shaoguan's computing infrastructure construction, data industry ecosystem, and application scenarios, and engaging in exchanges and discussions with local enterprises around data annotation services, computing-empowered industries, and artificial intelligence applications.
"I am very confident in the investment prospects of Shaoguan's big data sector," said Lu Cuiying, a young entrepreneur from Macao. She stated that Shaoguan has a solid industrial foundation, strong policy support, and broad development space, making it a quality fertile ground for innovation and entrepreneurship. In the future, she will actively promote the connection between her own projects and Shaoguan's industrial resources.
Next, the Hong Kong and Macao youth representatives will also travel deep into Wengyuan, Xinfeng, and other places, visiting enterprises and universities to conduct on-site research on Shaoguan's low-altitude economy and advanced manufacturing industry chain layout, technological research and development capabilities, and industrial incubation environment, exploring space for project implementation and technical cooperation.
The organizers stated that the experience camp is based on Shaoguan's industrial characteristics and aims to create a comprehensive innovation and entrepreneurship platform that integrates industry matchmaking, entrepreneurial exchange, on-site experience, and resource empowerment, guiding Hong Kong and Macao youth to seize the dual opportunities of Shaoguan's data center cluster construction and low-altitude economy development, and solidifying exchange ties.
