As of August 8, there are six days remaining until the price adjustment window closes at 24:00 on August 14. At the start of the current cycle, the estimated reduction was 0.09 yuan per liter, but after three consecutive working days of expanding declines, it has now entered a significant downward adjustment range.
Based on the latest calculations, gasoline prices are expected to drop by 380 yuan per tonne, while diesel prices are forecast to decrease by 365 yuan per tonne. Converted to retail prices, 92-octane gasoline is projected to fall by 0.30 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline by 0.32 yuan per liter, and 0-diesel by 0.31 yuan per liter.
However, it is important to note that there are still several statistical days remaining in the pricing cycle, and variables remain. If international crude oil rebounds quickly, the current expected decline may narrow. Whether the adjustment is finalized and the exact reduction amount will depend on the official announcement from the National Development and Reform Commission.
