The General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province has issued the "Action Plan for Accelerating High-Level AI Application Across All Domains, Times, and Industries in Guangdong Province." The plan proposes a focus on key "AI+" technology breakthroughs. It supports research into large model mechanisms, AI interpretability, and intelligent modeling of complex systems as part of frontier basic theoretical exploration. Efforts will be made to study intelligent algorithms for scientific computing, intelligent methods for structured data, and cross-disciplinary knowledge reasoning methods. The plan also calls for the development of high-efficiency artificial intelligence chips and heterogeneous computing architectures. Research will be conducted on key technologies such as the cleaning and labeling, synthesis, and enhancement of scientific data, alongside the development of key AI support software and toolchains. Additionally, the province will explore cutting-edge interdisciplinary areas in AI, focusing on key technologies for integrating quantitative and intelligent methods, brain-like chips and novel computing architectures, and the convergence of 6G and artificial intelligence.
