Damai Entertainment Releases 2025/26 ESG Report: AAA Rating, Zero Security Breaches and 2.77 million tCO₂e Emissions

Damai Entertainment Holdings Limited published its 2025/26 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, detailing governance upgrades, environmental metrics and social initiatives for the period 1 April 2025–31 March 2026.

Governance & Risk • Board-level ESG oversight and a dedicated execution team underpin a three-tier “decision–management–execution” framework. • In March 2026 the company’s external ESG rating rose to AAA, the highest in the global media & entertainment peer group. • Six firm-wide risk & internal-control training sessions reached 712 staff hours. • Integrity programme achieved 100 % training coverage; six whistle-blower cases were accepted, five substantiated and 12 employees disciplined. No legal cases related to corruption or unfair competition were reported.

Data Security & Privacy • No information-security or data-breach incidents during the year. • Core systems hold ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications; personal-data impact assessment label obtained for two subsidiaries. • Five live drills executed; AI-based review tools deployed across platforms.

Workforce & Human Capital • Headcount: 1,941 (55 % female); labour-contract signing rate 100 %. • Training: 34,553 hours delivered, averaging 17.8 hours per employee. • Occupational safety: zero work-related fatalities and zero lost-day incidents for a third consecutive year.

Supply Chain • 300 qualified suppliers (98 % mainland China); ESG risk screening covered 100 % of the base. • 31 suppliers completed dedicated integrity and ESG compliance training.

Environmental Performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions: 2.77 million tCO₂e (Scope 1 1.79 million; Scope 2 0.98 million). • Comprehensive energy use: 0.53 thousand tce; water consumption 29.69 thousand tonnes. • Installed distributed solar capacity increased to 1.63 MW; achieved 15 % reduction in unit water use versus 2021 baseline. • Targets align with Alibaba Group’s roadmap: carbon-neutral operations by 2030 and 50 % Scope 3 intensity reduction by the same year.

Community & Charity • 1,111 employees volunteered 11,800 hours. • “Tao Piao Piao Starlight” project delivered 4,650 rural film screenings and donated 31 projection sets, benefiting over 100,000 residents. • Accessibility drive expanded “Wheelchair-friendly Hall” coverage to 300+ cinemas in 80 cities.

Outlook Damai Entertainment will refine climate-risk assessment, extend green-power uptake and deepen data-security, integrity and supply-chain ESG programmes to support its 2030 carbon-neutral commitment and sustained AAA ESG standing.
