CITIC (00267): Duan Jiaqiang Appointed as General Manager of Citic Press Corporation

CITIC (00267) announced that, in accordance with the Company Law, relevant regulations, and its Articles of Association, the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mr. Duan Jiaqiang as General Manager of the company. His term will commence upon the board's approval and last until the end of the sixth Board of Directors' tenure.

Following Mr. Duan Jiaqiang's nomination, the Board has also approved the appointment of Mr. Hong Yonggang as Editor-in-Chief, Ms. Pan Yue, Ms. Wang Yuanyuan, and Ms. Zhu Hong as Deputy General Managers, Mr. Su Bin as Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary, and Mr. Wang Liang as Chief Financial Officer. The CFO appointment has been reviewed and approved by the Board's Audit Committee. All terms will align with the sixth Board's tenure.

Additionally, upon nomination by Chairman Chen Wei, the Board has appointed Mr. Zhang Haidong as Board Secretary, with Ms. Sun Wei serving as Securities Affairs Representative to assist the Board Secretary. Their terms will also coincide with the sixth Board's tenure.

Following the election, Mr. Zhang Wei, Mr. Song Jun, and Mr. Zhang Zhiyue will no longer serve as directors or hold other positions. In line with the revised Articles of Association approved by shareholders, the Board's Audit Committee will now oversee the duties previously handled by the Supervisory Committee. Consequently, Ms. Liang Jing, Mr. Liu Chenguang, Mr. Wu Ben, and Ms. Zhang Aifang will step down as supervisors.
