At the opening bell, the Hang Seng Index advanced 1.11% to 25,779.08 points, the Hang Seng Tech Index climbed 1.69%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 1.27%.

Across the board, tech stocks saw broad gains, with NetEase (NASDAQ: NTES) jumping over 3%, while JD.com (NASDAQ: JD) and Meituan (HKEX: 03690) both rose more than 2%. Gold-related stocks also traded mostly higher, led by Zijin Gold International, which surged over 8%. Meanwhile, innovative drug concept stocks opened strongly, with Everest Medicines soaring nearly 15% at the start of trading.
