According to data compiled by Private Fund Ranking Network, Gaoyi Asset researched a total of 16 A-share companies in September. The top three gainers in stock price were: Titan Wind Energy (26.67%), Hengyunchang (25.53%), and Guoxin Health (9.70%).
It is worth noting that Gaoyi Asset's well-known fund manager Deng Xiaofeng appeared in research on Zangge Mining, alongside other well-known billion-yuan-level discretionary private funds such as Greenwoods Asset and Juming Investment. It is reported that Zangge Mining is a non-ferrous metals sector target with coordinated development of potassium, lithium, and copper. (View list)
Gaoyi was founded in 2013 and has grown into a well-known domestic platform-based private fund with assets in the hundreds of billions. The company adopts a platform-based operating model. Several fund managers under its umbrella, including Qiu Guolu, Deng Xiaofeng, Feng Liu, Zhuo Liwei, Sun Qingrui, and Wu Renhao, independently manage products with the support of a unified research platform. Although their investment styles have different emphases, they all take deep fundamental research as their foundation and emphasize judgment on industry structure and companies' long-term competitiveness.
At the end of the second quarter of this year, Gaoyi had entered the top ten shareholder lists of 14 listed companies, with a total market value of holdings reaching 13.94 billion yuan. It is worth noting that the "Gaoyi Xiaofeng No. 2 Zhixin Fund" managed by Deng Xiaofeng, after a two-month gap, once again newly entered Zijin Mining, buying 92.7817 million shares, with a total market value of 3.865 billion yuan. (For reference: The latest holdings of 10 private fund giants including Deng Xiaofeng, Feng Liu, and Qiu Guogen are revealed!)
In the second quarter of this year, the non-ferrous metals sector as a whole fell into adjustment, and Zijin Mining's share price once dropped by more than 20%. Deng Xiaofeng chose exactly this moment to re-enter, reflecting his consistent contrarian investment style: positioning when the market is panicking and share prices are under pressure, and cashing out when the market is euphoric and share prices have risen sharply.
According to statistics from Private Fund Ranking Network, in September a total of 726 private securities fund managers conducted 1,808 research visits, covering 391 A-share listed companies. The camp of billion-yuan private funds made a collective appearance, including Gaoyi Asset, Springs Capital, Panjing Investment, Dunhe Asset Management, and Juming Investment. In terms of industry distribution, the semiconductor industry led by a wide margin with 229 research visits, becoming the direction most closely watched by private funds in September. General equipment, optical electronics, components, auto parts, and chemical pharmaceuticals followed closely, with equally intensive research activity.
At the company level, among the 24 A-share companies most researched by private funds in September, 3 listed companies were each researched by private funds more than 30 times. (View list) According to Choice data, 11 billion-yuan private funds, including Gaoyi Asset, Juming Investment, Panjing Investment, Springs Capital, Nantu Asset, Yuanxin Investment, Dunhe Asset Management, Greenwoods Asset, Ruijun Asset, Shanghai Dapu Asset, and Chongyang Investment, each researched more than 10 A-share companies in September.
