CHINA LIT (00772) shares surged more than 4%, reaching a 4.43% gain to HKD 20.26, with trading volume of HKD 135 million as of press time. The recent AI-driven short drama sector has seen multiple blockbuster hits. Data from Douyin's native AI short drama platform shows that from January to June this year, a total of 221,900 new AI short dramas were added, with 1,055 surpassing 100 million views each. The cumulative new viewership reached 515.738 billion, and June alone saw a single-month viewership increase of 155.78 billion, marking the highest level in the past half-year.

Notably, ByteDance's Seed team announced today on its official account the official release of the next-generation video generation model, Seedance 2.5. CICC highlighted that the company is steadily advancing its short drama and comic drama businesses. In May, the company officially launched the overseas comic drama platform ToonScroll, with plans to release over 1,000 comic dramas this year. This platform operates on a "premium content overseas + global co-creation" dual-engine model. On July 15, the company rolled out two key products: Qidian Theater, an AI short drama app, and DramaBuddy, a comic drama assistant. Qidian Theater opens up adaptation channels for over 100,000 intellectual property (IP) works. The brokerage believes that the company's rich IP resources, combined with AI development, can drive breakthroughs in short drama and comic drama businesses, creating new revenue and profit growth opportunities.
