According to a report from Zhitong Finance APP, Fortune released its third annual list of Asia's Most Powerful Women in Business on October 7, in which Hong Kong's female talent stood out prominently, with as many as 16 top female leaders making the list.
HKEX (00388) Chief Executive Officer Chen Yiting has been featured on the list for three consecutive years, this time climbing to the 5th position. Notably, Chen Yiting and Watsons Group CEO Ni Wenling (6th position) are the only two Hong Kong representatives to also make it into Fortune's Most Powerful Women 2026 Top 100 globally, ranking 15th and 20th respectively.
Another focal point of this year's list fell on two sisters from the casino tycoon family. He Chaoqiong and He Chaofeng both made the list, entering as representatives of different regions: He Chaoqiong (26th position) was listed as a Hong Kong representative, overseeing MGM China; while her younger sister He Chaofeng (27th position) was included as a Macau representative, helming SJM Holdings.
In the 2026 list, DBS Group CEO Tan Su Shan retained the top spot, while Grace Wang held firmly at second place. Tech entrepreneur Zhou Qunfei jumped 25 places this year to third position, one of the most eye-catching ranking changes in this edition, highlighting the growing influence of female leaders in the technology sector across Asia's business landscape.
