China Starch trims share capital by 2.58% after cancelling 154 million repurchased shares

China Starch Holdings Limited announced that it has cancelled 154.00 million ordinary shares on 3 August 2026, concluding the buy-back programme conducted between 24 March and 17 July 2026.

Prior to cancellation, the company had 5.96 billion shares in issue. The removal of the repurchased shares reduced the outstanding share count to 5.81 billion, representing a 2.58% contraction in issued share capital.

The shares were repurchased at an average price of HKD 0.1692 each, implying a total outlay of approximately HKD 26.06 million. No treasury shares remain on the balance sheet following the cancellation.

The disclosure was filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in accordance with Main Board Rule 13.25A and signed by Company Secretary Mr Leung Siu Hong on 3 August 2026.
