Gree CMO Slams Skyworth for Copying: "Looks Similar, But Don't Do It Again"

On the evening of January 6, Zhu Lei, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Gree Electric Appliances, Inc. of Zhuhai, posted on Weibo, criticizing Skyworth, stating, "It looks quite similar, but don't copy it next time."

According to the content Zhu Lei posted with accompanying images, a poster design page for Skyworth air conditioners, published on Skyworth's official video channel, bears a striking resemblance to a poster launched by Gree with the slogan "Genuine Copper, Solid Materials, Made by Gree," raising clear suspicions of plagiarism.

However, the poster originally published on Skyworth's video channel has now been deleted. As of the time of writing, Skyworth has not yet responded to the allegations of plagiarism.
