Yangpu District Commerce Commission Executes 'Work Safety Month' Initiatives

Deep News06-18

During this year's Work Safety Month, under the guidance of the Municipal Commerce Commission and the Yangpu District Work Safety Committee, the Yangpu District Commerce Commission has rigorously implemented work safety deployment arrangements. It has firmly maintained the safety baseline for the commerce and grain sectors, reinforced the primary responsibility of industry enterprises, and coordinated with local sub-district offices to carry out a series of safety actions including practical drills, specialized inspections, and comprehensive publicity campaigns. These efforts aim to conduct all-round hidden danger inspections and universalize safety knowledge, thereby weaving a tighter and more robust safety production protection network for the commerce and grain sectors within its jurisdiction.

Enhancing Capabilities Through Drills: Government-Enterprise Collaboration in Practical Safety Emergency Exercises

To improve emergency response capabilities for sudden safety incidents and effectively prevent and mitigate safety risks in crowded places, the District Commerce Commission collaborated with Siping Road Sub-district and Changhai Road Sub-district. It coordinated key locations such as Bauhinia Plaza and ATRenew (Ai Hui Shou) to organize practical work safety emergency drills. The on-site activities included simulated fire emergency response drills, covering initial fire suppression, personnel evacuation, and the use of firefighting equipment. Participants worked in division, responded swiftly, strictly followed emergency plan protocols, and efficiently completed the full emergency response process, effectively testing the practicality of the emergency plans and the team's collaborative operational capabilities. The drill site invited instructors from the Dalian Fire and Rescue Station and third-party experts for on-site guidance. Representatives from Siping Road Sub-district, Changhai Road Sub-district, the Yangpu Office of the Municipal Renewable Resource Recycling Association, and over 20 renewable resource enterprises from the district were invited to observe and learn.

Building Defense Through Learning: Expert Lectures to Fortify Work Safety Awareness

To further standardize work safety management for renewable resource recycling enterprises, the District Commerce Commission invited work safety experts. Leveraging typical industry accident cases, the experts delivered on-site lectures at ATRenew's (Ai Hui Shou) Ai Fenlei Yangpu C-end Sorting Center. They explained key points such as electrical fire prevention, management of flammable material storage, and maintenance and use of firefighting facilities, while systematically interpreting the requirements for enterprises to fulfill their primary responsibility for work safety. Concurrently, the Yangpu District Commerce Commission produced and distributed a template for work safety records to renewable resource recycling enterprises. It required all enterprises to resolutely overcome complacency, tighten and压实 their primary responsibility, regularly conduct emergency drills and safety training to enhance all employees' safety skills, comprehensively carry out self-inspection and self-correction of hidden dangers, establish and improve long-term management mechanisms, and ensure the safe, orderly, and standardized operation of the industry.

Gathering Strength Through Publicity: Multi-Scenario Rollout of Work Safety Thematic Science Communication

To foster a strong atmosphere where "everyone talks about safety and everyone knows how to respond to emergencies," the Yangpu District Commerce Commission, based on the characteristics of commercial trade industry scenarios, has comprehensively launched Work Safety Month thematic publicity campaigns in major shopping malls, standardized food markets, and renewable resource recycling stations.
