Kuaishou Technology, a Cayman-incorporated company with weighted voting rights, filed its monthly return for the period ended 30 September 2026. The filing captures a net reduction in issued equity as the firm presses ahead with share-buyback activity while continuing to honour employee incentive plans.
The aggregate authorised share capital held steady at USD 50,000, split between 8.67 billion Class B shares and 0.77 billion Class A shares, each carrying a par value of USD 0.0000053.
Issued Class B shares (the Hong Kong-listed counter) fell by 19.30 million month on month to 3.64 billion. Movements comprised: • 22.91 million Class B shares repurchased and cancelled on 24 September 2026. • 3.51 million Class A shares converted into Class B shares on the same date. • 0.11 million new Class B shares issued from option exercises under the Pre-IPO employee incentive scheme, generating HKD 0.03 million in proceeds.
Class A shares, which are not listed in Hong Kong, declined by 3.51 million to 659.35 million, entirely due to conversion into Class B shares. No Class A or Class B treasury shares were held at month-end.
Share-based compensation structures remain sizeable. Outstanding options total 42.03 million (15.91 million under the 2018 Pre-IPO scheme, 23.31 million under the 2021 Post-IPO scheme, and 2.91 million under the 2023 Share Incentive Scheme). In addition, a combined 136.10 million restricted share units are reserved for future issuance across the Post-IPO RSU Scheme and the 2023 Share Incentive Scheme. Unutilised option capacity under the 2023 mandate stands at 222.57 million shares.
Kuaishou confirmed compliance with Hong Kong’s minimum 25 % public-float requirement for its listed Class B shares as at 30 September 2026 and affirmed that all share issuances, cancellations, and conversions were duly authorised and executed in accordance with applicable listing rules and regulations.
