The controlling shareholder of Qingdao Haier Biomedical Co.,Ltd. (SH: 688139) has submitted a formal proposal for the company to repurchase its own shares.

The proposal, received by the company on June 25, 2026, from its controlling shareholder, Qingdao Haier Biomedical Holding Co., Ltd., suggests a buyback using the company's own funds.

The recommended repurchase would be executed through centralized competitive bidding on the Shanghai Stock Exchange system, targeting a portion of the company's issued A-shares.

The total amount earmarked for the share repurchase is proposed to be no less than RMB 50 million and no more than RMB 100 million.

The final details of the share repurchase plan will be subject to approval and formalization by the company's board of directors.
