According to data from the China Construction Machinery Association, the monthly operating rate for major construction machinery products in July 2026 stood at 49.9%, marking a decline of 6.34 percentage points compared to the same period last year and a 1.17 percentage point drop from the previous month.
Breaking down the figures by equipment type, excavators recorded a 48.2% operating rate, loaders reached 53.9%, truck cranes hit 53%, crawler cranes came in at 48.7%, tower cranes were at 44.9%, rollers logged 29.9%, pavers were at 38.7%, rotary drilling rigs reached 41.4%, non-road mining dump trucks posted 32.4%, concrete pump trucks stood at 30.3%, concrete mixer trucks were at 38.6%, and forklifts achieved 65.8%.
In terms of working hours, the average monthly working time for major construction machinery products in July was 73.6 hours, down 8.82% year-on-year and 0.17% month-on-month. Specific figures include excavators at 54.3 hours, loaders at 98.2 hours, truck cranes at 84.2 hours, crawler cranes at 77.4 hours, tower cranes at 45.4 hours, rollers at 23.4 hours, pavers at 27.7 hours, rotary drilling rigs at 64.9 hours, non-road mining dump trucks at 112 hours, concrete pump trucks at 33.1 hours, concrete mixer trucks at 91 hours, and forklifts at 107 hours.
