    The management of Mapletree seems determined to proceed with the merger of $MAPLETREE COMMERCIAL TRUST(N2IU.SI)$ and $MAPLETREE NORTH ASIA COMM TR(RW0U.SI)$ .  They are now offering MNAT a cash option too.  This deal seems to benefit MNAT more than MCT.  My personal preference is for the merger not to go ahead. What are yours?

      IMO, it's not a good deal for existing shareholders. DPU & NAV improved at the expense of higher Gearing & the addition of Political Risks (HK & China) + FOREX exposure (not good when S$ is strong)

      For non-existing shareholders, it gives you bragging rights to "outperform" Temasek to buy from the open mkt at a 5%+ discount now (vs new units to be issued to them at $2.0039)

    Just wondering what the trading halt for $Lendlease Global Commercial REIT(JYEU.SI)$ is about today.  We will soon find out.  Hopefully it is something positive. 🙏🙏🙏
