Cathay Pacific confirms 6.08 billion shares in issue and maintains 16.7% public float for June 2026

Bulletin Express07-02

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (Cathay Pacific) submitted its monthly return to Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing on 02 July 2026, summarising equity movements for the month ended 30 June 2026.

The airline’s issued ordinary share capital was unchanged: 6.08 billion shares were in issue at both the start and close of the month, and the company held no treasury shares.

Directors confirmed compliance with the 16.7% minimum public-float requirement, a threshold set by a Stock Exchange waiver dated 20 June 2025. The waiver followed the completion of an off-market buy-back of 643.08 million shares on 24 February 2026.

The filing shows no new share options, warrants, convertible instruments or other agreements that could create additional shares.

The return was authorised by Company Secretary Joanna Lai.
