Hong Kong Stocks Open Higher: Hang Seng Up 0.41%, Tech Index Gains 0.61%; Tech and Chip Stocks Active, Gold Shares Rise

U.S. stocks continued their upward trend last Friday, with tech stocks performing well, driving the market higher after opening. All three major indices closed with gains. The U.S. dollar strengthened, and the 10-year Treasury yield rose to 4.14%. Gold prices advanced, while oil prices also followed the upward trend.

Today, Hong Kong's three major indices opened higher. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.41% to 25,795.94 points, the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 0.61%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index climbed 0.49%.

In the market, most tech stocks rose, with Meituan and Bilibili up over 1%, while NetEase fell nearly 1%. Gold stocks broadly advanced, with Lingbao Gold surging over 2%. Chip stocks were active, with SMIC rising more than 1%.

Four new stocks debuted today—Impression Da Hong Pao, Huaren Biotechnology, BenQ Medical Center, and Nanhua Futures—all opening lower, with BenQ Medical Center plunging over 30%.
