According to Zhitong Finance APP, YOFC (06869) rose more than 6% after its results, up 4.73% as of press time to HK$100.7, with turnover of HK$451 million.

On the news front, on October 30, YOFC released its results for the first three quarters of 2026, with the group achieving operating revenue of RMB 19.124 billion, a year-on-year increase of 86.12%; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 6.128 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1,204.63%.

Everbright Securities pointed out that from the perspective of quarterly performance changes, YOFC's profit elasticity has been significantly released since 26Q2, with 26Q3 revenue achieving growth both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter, as fiber prices continued to drive the release of profit elasticity. The company's announcement stated "improvement in revenue structure," and the bank believes the company will shift more production capacity toward high-end products such as G657A2 to meet data center connection demand. If the revenue share of high-end products continues to increase, the company's profit has further room for growth.

Everbright Securities continued that, according to customs data and Guomaotong Research Institute statistics, the average export price of China's optical fiber and cable rose to US$79.49/kg in 26H1, a year-on-year increase of 234.2%. China Mobile's 2026 to 2027 ordinary optical cable group-level centralized procurement is the largest-scale ordinary cable centralized procurement of the year, and the first round of bidding was declared a failed bid; the maximum price limit in the second round of bidding was raised by about 8.5%, and among 18 candidate manufacturers, 17 all quoted at the maximum price limit, with 18 ultimately winning bids, and the company accounting for a 10.07% share.
