The 2026 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference is being held in Shanghai from October 20 to 22.

Yang Bin, Dean of the Institute for Sustainable Social Value at Tsinghua University, emphasized during his speech that AI governance must be carried out early, particularly international cooperation in the field of AI governance.

"Do not wait until the negotiations on nuclear control back then, where it took a disaster on the scale of Chernobyl before people said they 'had no choice,'" he warned, adding that this matter should be treated with clear-headedness and seriousness as early as possible.

In addition, Yang Bin stated that China's manufacturing sector should make greater contributions in the green transition. He believes that China has many leading advantages in green technology, and these leading technologies should be able to benefit the international community on a larger scale through various means.

The 2026 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference is once again arriving by the banks of the Huangpu River in Shanghai. Nobel Prize and Turing Award winners will share their insights on the future and trends of technology on site, and there will also be a live dialogue between the internet-famous professors who "rescue" people from anxiety and the era of involution — Macfarlane and Xiang Biao!
