The "three new" economy's share of total GDP stood at 18.39%, an increase of 0.38 percentage points from the previous year. This economic segment aggregates activities centered on emerging industries, innovative business patterns, and novel commercial approaches.
Breaking down by sector, within the "three new" economy, the primary industry contributed 9,865 billion yuan, up 4% year-on-year, accounting for 3.8% of the total. The secondary industry added 106,304 billion yuan, growing 5.8% and representing 41.2% of the share. The tertiary industry generated 141,700 billion yuan, rising 6.6% and comprising 55% of the total.
