The physical AI infrastructure company, Lightwheel AI, has announced a new collaboration with Siemens AG.
This partnership will leverage Lightwheel AI's proprietary, full-stack, tripartite simulation platform, SimFoundry. The goal is to transform the long-accumulated physical models, engineering parameters, and process knowledge within industrial software into simulation capabilities that robots can continuously utilize. This initiative aims to further bridge the gap between training, evaluation, and real-world deployment, providing comprehensive physical AI infrastructure support for robots entering complex industrial environments.
This news follows closely after Lightwheel AI's recent announcement of completing a new funding round of 10 billion yuan. The company is noted as the sole Chinese entity in both the Newton and EgoVerse international standards. Through this technical synergy, Lightwheel AI is working to provide a low-cost, highly reliable "virtual training ground" for robots in factory settings.
