Zhongshan's Henglan Town has a new "top-tier" destination as Hualifeng officially opens! The large-scale commercial complex, Zhongshan Hualifeng, commenced operations in January. Positioned as a "one-stop commercial landmark," it fills the gap for comprehensive consumer venues in the area, significantly enhancing the town's commercial capacity and consumption quality.
The Hualifeng shopping center is located at No. 3 Xinmao Industrial Avenue in Henglan Town, situated within the town's core business district. It is accessible within a 3-kilometer radius covering 196 residential compounds (apartments), 8 schools, and 12 large industrial parks, perfectly catering to the commuting needs of various groups including office workers, students, and industrial park employees.
In Tanzhou Town, efforts are underway to preserve the "Yile" memory, with the latest progress on the Yile Park upgrade project. On January 8th, Tanzhou Town Party Secretary Tang Rulie led a team to inspect and supervise the Yile Park upgrade project on-site. The renovation closely adheres to the overall vision of "Vibrant Jindou Bay, Yile Universe Park" and the principle of "retentive renovation," aiming to create a truly integrated open urban comprehensive park that combines ecological foundations, cultural heritage, and leisure functions.

Dongqu Street recently signed an investment agreement with CATL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., formally introducing its Qiji Battery Swap construction project. This project, jointly negotiated and introduced by the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau and Dongqu Street, primarily involves the construction of multiple battery swap stations featuring intelligent self-service swapping systems and related supporting facilities.
Torch Hi-tech Zone achieves a world-first! A new breakthrough in Mingyang's "smart" manufacturing. The world's first 30-megawatt pure hydrogen gas turbine, developed by Zhongshan-based Mingyang Group's subsidiary Mingyang Hydrogen Fuel Power Technology Co., Ltd., recently achieved a major breakthrough—the "Jupiter-1" unit successfully generated power using pure hydrogen and maintained stable operation.
This milestone signifies the successful transition of the world's first 30MW "electricity-hydrogen-electricity" pilot demonstration project from blueprint to reality. The unit's combined cycle can generate approximately 48,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per hour, sufficient to meet the daily electricity needs of 5,500 households.
In Cuiheng New District, venturing into a new industrial track, the Embodied Intelligence Joint Research Institute is established. On January 6th, Xinyichang, in collaboration with Chengdu Tangyuan Electric Co., Ltd., a leading listed company in China's rail transit intelligent operation and maintenance sector, jointly held the "Embodied Intelligent Robot Strategic Cooperation Release and Embodied Intelligence Joint Research Institute" inauguration event at the Xinyichang Industrial Park located in Zhongshan's Cuiheng New District.

In Nanlang Street, the Lanxi River shoreline renewal and upgrade project accelerates. The first phase of the shoreline enhancement project for the Lanxi Mountain-Sea Bamboo Stream Landscape Improvement and Utilization project in Cuiheng Village, Nanlang Street, is progressing rapidly. As one of Zhongshan's key projects for creating beautiful rivers and lakes, the first-phase construction encompasses river channel ecological improvement, boardwalk and bridge renovations, and the enhancement of leisure and basic service facilities.
Dredging and desilting have been completed, and the project has now entered the stages of constructing water retention dams and ecological slope protection renovation. The overall project is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026.

In Sanxiang Town, new homes are secured! 45 units of affordable housing get a "building rejuvenation." The renovation project for 45 units (totaling 116 rooms) of affordable rental housing in Buildings 1-6, Block 7, Huafeng Garden, Sanxiang Town, was recently successfully completed. These newly renovated units have been officially delivered for use.
