In response to the severe flooding that struck Fushun, Liaoning province on July 13, 2026, Hanking Gold (03788) has announced a significant donation to support relief and reconstruction efforts.
The extreme heavy rainfall led to widespread urban and rural waterlogging, river flooding, substantial damage to homes and farmland, and the emergency evacuation of numerous residents, drawing widespread concern from all sectors of society.
The company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Fushun Hanking Aoniu Mining Co., Ltd. (Aoniu Mining), has donated RMB 3 million to the Fushun Red Cross Society.
These funds are designated specifically for emergency relief, temporary shelter, procurement of disaster relief equipment, and post-disaster repair and reconstruction work for those affected by the Fushun rainstorm and floods.
Furthermore, the Group's mining operations have dispatched machinery and personnel to assist with emergency construction, clearing spillways, and have proactively made employee dormitories available to properly accommodate evacuated residents, providing full support for frontline rescue operations and local community needs.
The contribution was made from Aoniu Mining's own operating funds and is not expected to have a material impact on the Group's operational or financial condition.
