Yesterday, the "Zhongneng Tianjin" vessel, carrying 70,000 tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG), safely docked at the Sinopec Tianjin LNG Receiving Terminal and completed unloading operations smoothly. Since November this year, the terminal has exported over 320 million cubic meters of natural gas, sufficient to meet the gas demand of 20 million households for one month, ensuring stable winter heating for residents in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
To secure stable and orderly natural gas supply for North China during winter, the Sinopec Tianjin LNG Receiving Terminal has optimized production operations. A representative stated, "We strictly adhere to winter safety protocols and enhance on-site management. Frontline operators have increased inspection frequency for key equipment such as storage tanks, vaporizers, and high-pressure export pumps, with intensified monitoring during night shifts and critical periods to maintain optimal conditions. Additionally, process control teams operate on 24-hour shifts, closely monitoring operational parameters and adjusting processes to ensure efficient and stable terminal operations."
