Bulletin Express07-17

JL MAG Rare-Earth Co., Ltd. (JLMAG) disclosed that on 17 July 2026 it bought back 2,723,200 H-shares on the open market, representing roughly 0.20% of its total issued share capital.

The transaction cost approximately HK$44.31 million, translating into an average price of HK$16.27 per share. All repurchased shares will be cancelled, leading to a corresponding reduction in the company’s registered capital.

Management stated that the prevailing market price does not fully reflect the intrinsic value and prospects of the company; the board views the buy-back as a signal of confidence in JLMAG’s outlook and as a move intended to enhance shareholder value. The company indicated it may consider additional repurchases when appropriate, subject to applicable regulations.

Following the transaction, JLMAG confirmed that it continues to meet the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s public-float requirements.

The board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
