Luckin Coffee's New Product Criticized for Small Portions; Official Response Pending, Customer Service Says "Feedback Logged"

Deep News03-30

On March 30, Luckin Coffee's new product, Coconut Egg, faced widespread criticism from consumers. Many customers reported that the new item was overly icy and consisted mostly of shaved ice, with the portion size being only half that of similar products. Complaints also mentioned poor texture of the coconut meat. Additionally, the product was not properly sealed, making it prone to spilling during takeout or delivery, resulting in a poor user experience.

Luckin Coffee has not issued an official response to these complaints. According to reports, the company's customer service stated that they have received user feedback and currently allow customers to order the product without ice. Regarding issues such as portion size, taste, and packaging, the feedback will be recorded and escalated to the relevant department for further action.
