On the afternoon of March 27, 2026, the inaugural annual meeting of Yonghui Superstores' private brand "Quality Yonghui" was held in Xuchang. During the event, CEO Wang Shoucheng stated that after achieving three major breakthroughs in the first phase of the company's transformation—reimagining store environments, revolutionizing product offerings, and reshaping human resources—Yonghui Superstores has recorded growth in both same-store customer traffic and sales for the first time in five years. In 2026, Yonghui is entering the second phase of its strategic revamp, described as "refined and in-depth optimization," moving from "getting it done" to "making it better."

Wang Shoucheng emphasized that Yonghui’s strategic direction remains unchanged. The company will continue to focus on product quality, customer experience, employee development, and corporate culture, aiming to deepen, refine, and stabilize its path toward quality retail.

The first phase of the transformation took place from June 2024 to December 2025. During this period, Yonghui Superstores quickly streamlined its store network and adjusted its business model, concentrating on improvements in store layout, merchandise selection, and compensation systems to enhance operational quality and consumer experience.

Data shows that in 2025, Yonghui achieved dual growth in same-store footfall and sales, marking the first return to positive growth in nearly five years.

Beginning in 2026, Yonghui has officially entered the second phase of its transformation. The company will focus on refining and deepening adjustments in existing stores, with the goal of achieving "corporate health" by June 2027.
