The first batch of cross-border export goods, including household appliances and daily necessities, has completed customs transfer declarations at the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone's cross-border e-commerce maritime export pre-positioned warehouse and been transported to Yangshan Port. This marks the successful operational testing of Shanghai's inaugural pre-positioned warehouse for maritime e-commerce exports.
Once fully operational, this facility will leverage the advantages of port-zone linkage, cargo consolidation, multi-party collaboration, and direct warehouse-to-port access. It will relocate key processes for cross-border export goods—such as sorting, declaration, inspection, and customs supervision—to the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone. By utilizing a multi-party data exchange platform and implementing in-transit digital supervision, the system aims to establish an intelligent regulatory framework that ensures full-process control and end-to-end supply chain traceability. This initiative is designed to create a new cross-border logistics model characterized by single-point declaration, streamlined inspections, and direct clearance.
As a critical inland extension of Shanghai's port functions, the Fengxian Comprehensive Bonded Zone's maritime export pre-positioned warehouse will serve as a key maritime export channel linking the Fengxian district to regional cross-border e-commerce activities. It is positioned to provide businesses with high-efficiency, low-cost, and comprehensive one-stop services for streamlined international expansion.
