Deep News11-04

With the arrival of the winter tourism season, Changbai Mountain Airport has fully implemented its 2025–2026 winter flight schedule. The airport continues to optimize and expand its route network while upgrading service measures, creating a convenient gateway for tourists to explore the snowy wonderland. The deep integration of "aviation + tourism" further boosts regional cultural and tourism development.

In terms of route expansion, Changbai Mountain Airport has significantly increased its coverage, with weekly flights reaching 354 during the winter season—a 6% year-on-year increase. Currently, six airlines operate 20 routes connecting 21 cities, including one newly added destination this year. The network now fully covers major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, as well as key tourist hubs such as Hangzhou, Changsha, and Qingdao, offering diverse travel options for visitors.

Alongside route upgrades, service quality has also improved. The airport has implemented its "Six Flowers, Six Joys" service initiative, where the "Ice Crystal Flower" team, dressed in winter-themed uniforms, provides one-stop assistance in the terminal, ensuring passengers receive prompt guidance and support.

To cater to skiing enthusiasts, the airport offers group reservation services and dedicated check-in counters to reduce waiting times. Additionally, ski equipment storage services are available to ease the hassle of carrying bulky gear. Thoughtful touches, such as pre-heated shuttle buses equipped with handrails and snowflake-patterned seat cushions, enhance comfort during winter travel.

As a key aerial gateway to Changbai Mountain’s winter tourism, this seasonal upgrade not only marks the countdown to peak travel but also strengthens nationwide connectivity, reinforcing Changbai Mountain’s position as a world-class eco-tourism destination.
