At the "China's Industrial Landscape in the AI Era" roundtable during the 2025 Shanghai Stock Exchange International Investors Conference on November 13, Xu Liu, Vice President of Beijing Kingsoft Office Software, Inc., stated that the company's AI commercialization strategy focuses on "product differentiation" and "scenario depth." This involves deeply integrating AI into the WPS office ecosystem to create an intelligent collaboration platform tailored to real enterprise usage scenarios.
Xu Liu highlighted that Kingsoft Office has accumulated over 600 million monthly active devices globally and 260 billion document datasets. By incorporating AI capabilities, the company can not only activate "dormant documents" but also transform AI into an intelligent partner that "understands data, organizations, and business operations" in office environments. She cited the WPS Lingxi Assistant as an example, which achieves "two-way adaptation"—making software compatible with AI while enabling AI to better comprehend software. This allows AI to precisely utilize Office component APIs, delivering automatically generated, fully formatted, and editable content.
At the enterprise application level, Xu Liu emphasized that WPS 365 is advancing AI from "single-point intelligence" to "full-process intelligence," helping businesses centralize data, streamline workflows, and enable intelligent decision-making. "AI is no longer an observer but a team member," she noted. Looking ahead, Kingsoft Office aims to build an "intelligent brain" for enterprises transitioning from digital to smart operations through AI empowerment.
