Singapore Airlines Ltd said on Tuesday it would defer over $4 billion of spending on Airbus SE and Boeing Co planes after reaching agreements with the aircraft manufacturers to delay deliveries.

As a Singaporean, SQ would not die as the government would pump in $$$ to prop them up as its the national airline and a matter of pride to the country.SQ is famed for keeping their fleet young and this deferment is usual as the world grapples with borders restrictions and controlled air travel
