Operating profits spiked 223% from a year ago. Sales for AMD's lucrative data center business more than doubled year-over-year.Here is how AMD performed compared to Wall Street estimates for the first quarter:Net Sales: $3.45 billion vs. $3.18 billionAdjusted Diluted EPS: $0.52 vs. $0.44AMD lifted its full-year sales growth outlook to 50% from 37% previously.
