BEIJING, June 25 (Reuters) - China's foreign ministry said on Friday that the United States leader's comments on Apple Daily were baseless, after U.S. President Joe Biden called the closure of Hong Kong's Apple Daily a sad day for media freedom.
The United States should respect facts and stop interfering in Hong Kong affairs, spokesman Zhao Lijian told a regular news briefing in Beijing.
