10X不会作为一款独立操作系统发布，而是将其关键功能带到Windows 10与其他产品中后，当外界认为Surface Duo将重蹈微软手环、Surface RT的覆辙时，日前Surface Duo 2的相关信息却被海外科技媒体The Verge曝光了。\n根据此次曝光的信息显示，Surface Duo 2延续了双屏的机身形态，并没有采用当下主流折叠屏设计，后摄模组从单摄升级为主摄+超广角+长焦的三摄，搭载高通骁龙888主控，支持NFC，预装Android 11操作系统，支持侧置式指纹识别。从这些来看不难发现，Surface Duo 2的升级更多集中在硬件配置方面。\n但在外界看来，微软选择在Surface Duo 2做上出这样的改变，颇有些“头痛医头，脚痛医脚”。此前Surface Duo为什么会出现遭受场冷遇，其实性价比低是一个非常关键的问题。作为一款售价近1400美元、媲美顶配版iPhone12 Pro Max的产品，微软在这款2019年夏季发布、2020年9月开售的Surface Duo上犯了硬件严重落伍的错误。\n\n在核心硬件上，Surface Duo由两块单独的5.6英寸AMOLED屏幕组成，机身展开时能够连接在一起成为一块8.1英寸的大尺寸屏幕，搭载高通骁龙855主控，电池容量为3577mAh，配备了1100万像素的单摄，支持18W快充、Wi-Fi5、蓝牙5.0等功能，但并不支持5G网络及NFC。\n如果Surface Duo能够在2019年秋季上线，这样的硬件配置确实还有一定的吸引力，但是在2020年下半年，当配备骁龙865 Plus的Android旗舰产品出炉后，以上千美元的价格购买一台这款机型，显然对于消费者的说服力是不够的，并且在折叠屏机型经过了近两年的发展后，消费者更愿意看到的是一整块不会被铰链分割，能够弯折的屏幕，而且在当时，市场上还有产品力更强的三星Galaxy Z Fold 2可供选择。\n\n当然，即便在2019年夏季发布Surface Duo时，微软方面或许也没有想过以配置制胜，其对于Surface Duo的定位是能帮助用户重新思考如何使用“口袋里的设备”，而不是单纯地定义为一款折叠屏机型。微软硬件部门主管Panos Panay在此前接受The Verge采访时就曾表示，“用手机等类似词汇来为Surface Duo下定义往往有一定局限性，我也很抵触这样的说法。”\n根据Panos Panay的说法，Surface Duo是为微软应用生态服务的。利用双屏形态在生产力场景下，在多任务处理上的优势，来承载起自身应用生态无疑是微软方面的想法，而官方描述的一边进行Teams会议、一边使用OneNote记笔记的场景也很有画面感。所以本质上来说，Surface Duo更像是一款PDA，而不是折叠屏手机，是试图填补笔记本电脑无法兼顾的移动办公需求的空白。\n但遗憾的是，由于失去了Windows Phone，导致微软在移动生态领域几乎失去了话语权和对开发者的号召力，这款在Surface的产品思维打造之下的机型，再次重复了当初Windows Phone的困境，广大的第三方应用开发者对其兴趣缺缺。只有像Office、OneNote等“微软全家桶”才对其双屏设计有着较好的优化，第三方应用的适配进度则非常缓慢。\n\n更为致命的一点，是Surface Duo遇到了所有初代硬件产品都难以避免的问题——层出不穷的BUG。根据用户的反馈，Surface Duo在使用的过程中屏幕不正常闪烁、触控故障，使用手势过程中反应不灵敏、延迟，USB-C接口断裂，乃至电池膨胀等问题不一而足。\n既然Surface Duo不成功，为什么还会有续作产品呢？在我们看来，微软之所以继续保留这一产品线，原生支持Android应用的Windows 11是助力，而核心则源于微软关于Microsoft Graph的野望，需要Surface Duo的帮助。\n\nWindows 11原生支持Android应用在桌面端直接使用，代表着微软在经历了不甚成功的Windows on ARM后，找到了一个打通PC与移动端的契机。同样一款应用在PC和移动端无缝衔接，对于生产力场景而言显然是非常具有诱惑力的功能，这也意味着Surface Duo有了用武之地。\n而Microsoft Graph则是微软的远期目标，这是一套通用的API，开发者可以通过它轻松地访问微软在云端的服务和能力，并将其集成到自己的应用系统中，结合业务场景实现独特的价值。同时，Microsoft Graph也是硬件设备连接到Windows、Office 365、Outlook、Azure、Microsoft 365等一众微软服务的桥梁。\n\n开发者如果要开发一款应用程序，既需要提供邮件功能，又需要编辑和共享文件功能的话，就需要分别注册一个应用程序，再分别进行身份验证和授权，而且用到的代码库也可能是完全不同的。这时候，Microsoft Graph作为一个统一的支持平台就应运而生，其连接了微软的所有软件服务资源。\nSurface Duo在其中扮演的角色就是作为一款移动设备，为开发者、用户提供一个在移动端接入微软生态的入口。因为只要有开发者为Surface Duo编写应用，就需要用到Microsoft Graph这个提供访问微软在云端的服务和能力，并将其集成到自己应用中的API。\n\n所以即便Surface
