HK-listed China Evergrande plunges on report of project halts

** Biggest pct decliner on Hang Seng China Enterprises Index and second-biggest loser on Hang Seng Composite Index

** State media China National Radio says two Evergrande projects in the southwestern city of Kunming have halted construction

** One of the projects owes a construction firm involved over 210 mln yuan ($32.4 mln) in payments

** Financial intelligence provider REDD late on Wednesday said Chinese govt has ordered Guangdong province to support Evergrande and assist with creditor/strategic investor coordination

** The Hong Kong Hang Seng Composite Index tracking properties and construction stocks slips 0.6% and the Hang Seng Composite Index eases 0.5%

** The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index slides 0.5% and the benchmark index eases 0.3%

** As of last close, the stock down 57.5% this year
