- According to a statement on Tuesday from the U.S. Transportation Security Administration, a mask mandate in place for people visiting U.S. airports has been extended through Jan. 18, 2022.

- According to a complaint issued by an office of the National Labor Relations Board, Home Depot Inc forced a worker to quit after he wore a slogan supporting the Black Lives Matter movement on his apron, and threatened to punish other employees who tried to bring attention to racial harassment.

- Texas Governor Greg Abbott tested positive for the coronavirus and is receiving an antibody treatment, though he has no symptoms, the governor's office said on Tuesday.
