Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Analysts are expecting La-Z-Boy Incorporated to have earned $0.92 per share on revenue of $664.91 million for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings after the markets close. La-Z-Boy shares gained 2.9% to close at $23.19 on Friday.
  • Analysts expect Reservoir Media, Inc. to report quarterly earnings at $0.09 per share on revenue of $29.98 million before the opening bell. Reservoir Media shares gained 1.1% to close at $6.56 on Friday.
  • Tesla Inc. is cutting its salaried workforce by about 10% over the next three months, resulting in an overall reduction of some 3.5% in total headcount as hourly staff numbers are still expected to grow, Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk said.
  • XPeng Motors surpassed 200,000 cumulative deliveries this week, becoming the latest Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker to reach the milestone after NIO.
  • The French antitrust authority said on Tuesday it had accepted a series of commitments made by Alphabet's Google over a copyright law aimed at remunerating news publishers for the use of content online.
