Shares of Enjoy Technology Inc., which filed for bankruptcy on June 30, recently traded up 35% to 42 cents.
The retail technology company led by former Apple Inc. executive Ron Johnson said last week that it agreed to sell most of its assets to device insurance company Asurion LLC. Enjoy Technology said it would wind down the operations of Enjoy UK and Enjoy Canada.
Enjoy Technology's share price fell sharply in May after the company said it was reviewing strategic alternatives and had retained Centerview Partners and AlixPartners.
