0757 ET - Howmet and ATI are both bullish about the commercial aerospace recovery after segment sales rose 34% and 17% in 2Q, respectively. Both supply the types of castings and forgings that Airbus, Boeing, GE and Raytheon say are limiting aircraft and engine production. Their growth also outpaces the third big player, Berkshire Hathaway's Precision Castparts, which said as recently as May that it didn't expect a significant increase in aerospace sales or earnings in the near term, "primarily due to the expected lag in recovery of PCC's manufacturing levels."
