With US stock futures trading slightly lower this morning on Wednesday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Apple will likely unveil a new line of iPhones, Watch Series 8 and other products on Wednesday at an event awaited by Wall Street and its legions of customers. Apple usually launches new iPhones at the September event. The latest device is expected to include updates to the camera, storage and design, as well as satellite network connectivity.
  • Shares of NIO Inc. sank 4.38% toward a three-month low in premarket trading Wednesday, after the China-based electric vehicle maker reported a wider-than-expected second-quarter loss as revenue rose above forecasts but gross margins contracted, and provided a downbeat revenue outlook.
  • Coupa Software Incorporated (NASDAQ:COUP) posted better-than-expected results for its second quarter and issued strong forecast for FY23. The company also announced a $100 million buyback program.
  • Analysts are expecting Casey's General Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ:CASY) to have earned $3.34 per share on revenue of $4.54 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings after the markets close.
  • Newell Brands Inc. (NASDAQ:NWL) lowered its guidance for the current quarter and FY22. The company said it now sees FY22 earnings of $1.56 to $1.70 per share and net sales of $9.37 billion to $9.58 billion.
  • Analysts expect GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME) to post a quarterly loss at $0.38 per share on revenue of $1.27 billion after the closing bell. GameStop shares fell 1.07% to $24.87 in premarket trading.
