Adobe Q3 EPS $3.40 Beats $3.33 Estimate, Sales $4.43B In Line; And It Bought Figma For $20 Billion In Cash And Stock

Adobe (NASDAQ:ADBE) reported quarterly earnings of $3.40 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $3.33 by 2.1 percent. This is a 9.32 percent increase over earnings of $3.11 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $4.43 billion which met the analyst consensus estimate. This is a 12.58 percent increase over sales of $3.94 billion the same period last year.

Moreover, it was in advanced talks to buy Figma Inc. in a cash and stock deal valued at $20 billion. Figma is a San Francisco-based design software company founded in 2012. Citing people familiar with the matter, the deal for Figma, which could be completed as soon as Thursday, would be roughly half in stock and half in cash.
